Welcome

When I cook, I typically read a bunch of different recipes, and then combine and adapt them for my circumstances (time, equipment, ingredients on hand, mood, etc.). Then promptly forget which recipes I have used or how I adapted them. So this is my attempt at recording some of these recipes. Here you will find those recipes that I wanted to save and share.

Sorry, this is not meant to be a fancy site. It will not be pretty or well organised. It will not have pictures. It may not even have complete instructions, and you may need to take all amounts with a grain of salt (I rarely measure ingredients). However, when I do adapt a recipe from other sources I will try and link to them so you can see what they’re meant to be like. And I will add some notes on why some things possibly should be done in certain ways. On the bright side, I don’t have a very fancy kitchen or kitchen gadgets, or a great oven, so most of these recipes are pretty foolproof.

I mostly have a low-meat and dairy diet, but I’m not sure if that is going to be reflected very well in this blog. But typically, if I make food to take elsewhere, I’ll try and make something vegan, so that everyone can enjoy. I apologise to those that hate cilantro, you are foreign to my experience and I do not make any concessions for you.
