Donna’s chocolate cake

Thanks to Donna, Darcy & Scarlet for this super easy allergy-friendly chocolate cake recipe! Egg and dairy-free (aka something you can probably always easily make from what’s in the pantry).

  • 185 g plain flour
  • 3 tblsp cocoa
  • ¾ cup sugar
  • 1 tsp baking soda
  • ½ tsp salt
  • 15ml white vinegar
  • 90 ml vegetable oil
  • 250ml water
  • 1 tsp vanilla

Prep 2 x cake tins, lined, and heat oven to 180 deg C.

Mix dry ingredients. Mix wet ingredients. Do a dance.

Combine and mix quickly, pour into cake tin, and bake for 40 mins at 180 degrees C.
